We have small creeks that are connected to Taneycomo that can hold a ton of fish that can get you away from the fly fishing crowd below Table Rock Dam. In the winter these creeks become cold enough to support good numbers of trout. The only thing we need to bring them up is enough rain to fill the creeks so they can get in there. Once the trout are in they stay till spring, pretty cool stuff. There are a total of four creeks and we fly fish the best one. The other creeks have fish, but rarely do you see trout over 16 inches except this one creek. On this day we had a chance to hook several over the 20 inch mark.
